Using modern technology, archaeological discoveries are presented in engaging ways that let you explore how the Vikings lived, travelled, and honoured their dead.

At the heart of Sagastad stands the majestic Myklebust Ship, offering a powerful, hands-on connection to the seafaring traditions and skills of the Viking people. Around it, immersive exhibitions invite you to touch, listen, and explore through interactive screens, videos, soundscapes, and digital storytelling.

For a touch of adventure, try the VR experience – step into a recreated Viking village in Nordfjordeid, test your archery skills, and explore life in the Viking Age.
